Other than Privee and La Reserve, there are no surcharges for the numerous restaurant options on Oceania cruises. The following restaurants and venues are always available without a reservation:
- Grand Dining Room
- Terrace Cafe – morning and lunchtime buffets and alfresco dining on the teak tables astern.
- Waves Grill – outdoor hot breakfast and lunch, smoothies and milkshakes.
- Baristas – coffees
- Afternoon Tea
All guests receive complimentary reservations for many of these at the start of the cruise. After that you make subsequent reservations based on availability. There is no charge for the following restaurants:
- Toscana – Tuscan cuisine
- Polo Grill – steak house serving Surf & Turf, King’s Cut Prime Rib, Lobster Bisque.
- Red Ginger – Asian cuisine
- Jacques – Chef Jacques Pepin’s elegant French cuisine
- Ember – American traditions

Shore Excursion Options
- A la Carte – Pay the highest rate when you don’t pre-book. You run the risk of excursions being sold out when you decide to book.
- Your World Collection – Select a combination of excursions that most appeals to you and get 25 percent off on-board prices. The minimum number of excursions per package varies based on the number of ports on the itinerary. For example, on a voyage with eight ports, the minimum is five excursions.
- Unlimited Passport Collection – If you are taking an excursion in every port, this option will save you money. This package is not completely free after paying the basic fee, as many of the shore excursions have an additional surcharge. The basic package fee varies based on the number of ports on the itinerary, so the rate is not published on their web site.
- Oceania Choice and Oceana Exclusive Excursions – special private tours.

Oceania Cruises – Policies
Alcohol Policy – Wine can be purchased in ports and brought on board. Any personal wine purchases consumed in a restaurant or public area are subject to a corkage fee.
Smoking – Designated Smoking Areas are available on specific outside decks. Smoking is forbidden in all Staterooms and Suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas.
Gratuities – Established rates are applied to final billings based on stateroom type, but can be adjusted by visiting the Purser. A gratuity is automatically charged for alcoholic drinks at the time of purchase.
