Best Time of Year to Visit Cambodia

We think the best time of year to visit Cambodia is February.  The weather then is dry with fewer clouds and temperatures are more bearable.  If possible, avoid the rainy season from May to October.

Visit Cambodia – Visa Requirements

You can obtain a visa upon entry to Cambodia, but be prepared for a lengthy experience.  Entry involves baggage checks, visa fees, health checks and entry fees.  Check visa requirements for your specific country at VisaHQ.  For a list of exempt countries, visit Project Visa.

Cambodia – Currency

The Cambodian currency is the riel, but the US dollar is extremely popular.  We recommend carrying US cash in fresh clean bills and exchanging it for small amounts of riels as you travel.  The Thai baht is also widely accepted.

Electrical Adapters for Cambodia

Be prepared to use every electrical adapter in your travel kit when you Visit Cambodia.  You may find the need for American two prong plugs, Type C European adapters and British Type G electrical adapters.
